Benefit Performance
July 23 at Potter's House

Joe Peck and Tom Nichols will team up on July 23 at 8 p.m. for an awesome performance of alternative, folk, pop, and blues music to benefit the non-profit Open Circle Theatre as part of the Sounds of Hope series.  Open Circle highlights the contributions and performances of individuals (on and off the stage) with disabilities.  Come out and meet Artistic Director Susie Richard while enjoying two guitar-toting modern day troubadors
.

Suggested donation is $15 (and up) at the door.  Potter's House is in the heart of the popular DC dining and enterainment destination neighborhood of Adams Morgan.  Dinner service begins at 7 p.m., so why not make an evening of it?

Guerilla Recording: Original Tunes

So what is all this about Joe Peck writing songs, you ask?  Check out several of Joe's new songs.  They're in his ReverbNation music player above.  They are all basically alternative but with different influences - blues, pop, country, folk.    The country-tinged songs came as the biggest surprise to Joe.  But, after all, Joe's parents were both originally from the Nashville area!

Note:  These recordings were truly done "down and dirty", i.e. with only the very basic equipment that Joe has at home.  It's only a guitar and Joe.  Nothing more.  But that's enough to give you an idea of what they sound like and what Joe has been up to.  Perhaps more will be recorded - guerilla style - soon.  And don't forget to look above and on his show listings for opportunities to hear them performed live.
